i don't think that grammar is "too big a problem"...if you know the basic rules it's ok.
As you mentioned above you love vocabulary!!!!...Great!!! Keep trying to acquire a better vocabulary then!!

You know, Espeonfan, many people in Greece aren't fluent speakers of foreign languages. As Greeks, we speak a way too complicated language and tend to think the same thing happens in English. We don't have previous experience of simple languages like English, so we end up translating from our language.

Anyway, if you want to practise your English, the best way to do so is by watching English TV programmes. I recommend you to watch the series being broadcast in BBC. You can also work on your accent, as well.

The reason we don't speak good English isn't because English is too simple for us. That's wishful thinking. The reason we don't speak good English is because we focus too much on passing exams and not enough on learning the language. The fact we tend to complete our studies while still quite young doesn't help either, as it means we have limited opportunities to practise what we've learned and add to it once we stop attending classes.

It's natural to translate from your own language when you learn a new language, everyone does it. You just have to learn to do it without making mistakes
