I believe you...Very few people want to spend their free times protecting the enviroment...Unfortunately! This happens only in Greece!

Well, the case is not that Greeks don' t want to devote some of their leisure time to the protection of the environment, but that most of them do not want to change some aspects of their life and/or denounce some comforts which harm Nature. Otherwordly, most of them are bored of walking for ten more metres to drop the packing of an ice-cream in a rubbish bin, so they drop it in the road. Others find that the beach is a nice place to throw away their cigarette butts. However, there are some baggies which can replace ashtrays... And, for the worst of them, their own b...s. I am so sorry to notice that the vast majority of my classmates avoids getting up to dispose some rubbish of theirs, so they throw it from three or four or five metres away from the classroom's bin, and if it doesn' t get in... Let the others pick it up... It really gets on my nerves...

Anyway, I will open a new subject for discussion. I made tiramisu today. Wasn' t as I had expected, but it was OK. Tiramisu and galaktobureko are my favourite sweets. What are yours? And why?

I am so fond of tiramisu because of its softness in your mouth, because of the light cream and the heavy coffee taste that balances it, because of the heavenly savour of cocoa in your mouth...

While galaktobureko is one of my favourites due to the combination of the freshness of its cream and the sweetness of the syrup. The crust serves as an highlighter for the cream. Be aware that I dislike cinamon on galaktobureko, as it is sweet enough.

Sent by courier in a refridgerated bowl? Ah... Anyway, it wasn' t as I had expected, I had to dip the savoirdi cookies more in the coffee-liqueur mixture, put some sugar in the cream and make more cream... Though it wasn't my fault, it was the recipe's. AGrrhhhh!

For some people it might be. But it is fascinating to see that stamps may even show the history of a country.

There are even stamps from countries that don't exist anymore (e.g. Czechoslovakia, Jugoslavia, USSR).
