First, you are wrong, maths arent useful only for chemistry or physics. And second, as you believe that maths are useful only if you study chemistry, ancient greek are useful only if you study greek philosophy or philosophy generally.

yes they are, but with confines. Whats the point at learning these, someone who 's going to study greek philosophy or philosophy of a foreigh language, and he is never gonna use maths again?

Italian Dream I think you probably need to start a new thread in Greek, that way others who don't speak English can also participate.

if you want to spell the modern greek words correctly ,you have to know ancient greek.For example do you know why we say στην προστακτική αντίγραψε and not αντέγραψε ?
and even if you don't care about your language and if you use it with the right way (which i want judge if it is good or bad),you need to knoy them for geometry (what means προσκείμενες γωνίες; ) and geometry is used in algebra

I didnt say that ancient greek are useless, I find them really usefull in dictation as you said, and at talking!

I might have to remind you that until you go to the 2nd grade of High School you can't choose which subject to study.
